Sporty and Pretty
Nia is back from her grandmother's and has decided everyone has been lazy for too long. She drags the girls to the gym.
This morning, we found out that Nia came back from her Grandma’s place. Nia thought that we had totally stopped working out and she was right. That’s why she dragged us to the gym. I am so glad that we went to the gym because I have been constantly thinking about that charming guy. It’s good that girls didn’t notice anything weird about me, because I didn’t have to talk too much at the gym. Nia seems to be happier since she has visited her grandma that loves her and cares for her so much. Grandma had shared stories about Nia’s mom while they were working around the house. Nia would gladly move to her granny’s house if her dad let her do it. Even though her dad does not have time for her daughter he does not wanna hear about the move! On the other hand, it would be sad if Nia moved. What would we do without her? It’s sad to even think about that.

Emily is grateful for a reason not to talk — she has been thinking about the boy from the hallway and does not want the others to notice. The rest of the entry is not about the gym at all: it is about Nia's grandmother telling her stories about her mother, and about a father who will not let her move.
